Hobs

Choosing a new hob can be quite the task. There are lots of things to consider from fuel type and hob size to energy efficiency and the number of burners. You’ll also want to consider the best brands as well as your budget.

With hobs from leading brands like AEG, Miele and NEFF, you can be sure that you’re investing in the highest quality for your kitchen.

A hob is an essential kitchen appliance, so it’s important to consider all the options. Which fuel type you opt for depends on your cooking style and preferences. As well as classic gas, ceramic and induction, we also offer unique hobs such as domino hobs, air venting hobs and mixed fuel hobs. There are various colour options including; stainless steel, black and cream, plus many more!

Gas Hobs

Gas hobs allow for precise and instant temperature control. Many cooks prefer gas hobs over induction as you can boil and fry at a rapid rate. Our gas hobs have up to six burners so you can choose the amount of burners that suit you. There are useful features on some of our gas hobs such as wok burners. You can also opt for a sleek ‘gas on glass’ design which has a modern appeal.

Induction Hobs

Induction hobs are popular for being energy efficient and easy to clean. Induction hobs use magnets to send heat directly to the base of the pan, rather to the whole hob ring. This means no energy or heat is wasted around the outside of the pan. And with no naked flame, it’s certainly a safer way to cook, especially if you have little ones at home.

Ceramic Hobs

Ceramic hobs are a traditional choice, offering an easy to clean surface and quick heating technology. Ceramic hobs don’t use magnets like induction hobs do, instead they heat the entire zone, giving you rapid and powerful cooking power. Unlike induction cooking, this can result in wasted energy.

Air Venting Hobs

If you want to combine two appliances in one, why not opt for an air venting hob? Combining an extractor and hob in one means you can remove any steam or cooking odours quickly and efficiently directly from the source. Whilst air venting induction hobs are very popular, we also supply air venting gas hobs too. Take a look at the Elica Nikolatesla collection for some serious hob inspiration! You can choose between either a ducted or recirculating air venting hob depending on your requirements.
