We spend a lot of time in the kitchen…

At least three times a day we find ourselves looking for the perfect meal and we deserve to do it in a space we enjoy spending that time in. Whether you cook a roast dinner for the family every Sunday or love to experiment with new recipes, having the right appliances is integral to making both good food and positive, long-lasting memories. Thanks to Miele, the PureLine range makes this possible.

With over 125 years experience developing top quality appliances, Miele appliances are some of the best on the market. PureLine ovens, microwaves and warming drawers have become a staple here at Appliance City and have proven to stand the test of time. So, why should a member of the PureLine family have a new home in your kitchen?

As part of Miele’s philosophy, their appliances represent innovation, value and timeless elegance. The PureLine range is designed to be built into your kitchen, offering stylish and understated cooking that pairs perfectly with multiple kitchen design choices. The high proportion of glass in the PureLine design creates a minimalistic appearance that won’t compromise the visual aesthetic of your space.

With ovens, microwaves and warming drawers included in this collection, let’s explore why they are so popular…

The Pureline range comes in a range of styles, but these two are our favourites!

CleanSteel

Combining jet black glass and an eye-catching stainless-steel handle, CleanSteel appliances use horizontal lines to create a seamless look, perfect for combining multiple appliances so they look superbly in sync.

The ever classic black and stainless-steel finish works with a range of kitchen styles but looks particularly stunning paired with lighter countertops and cabinetry. Think of a light and airy space where cooking won’t stress you out!

Obsidian Black

Cleansteel’s minimalist cousin, Obsidian Black PureLine appliances are the epitome of modern cooking.

An aesthetic treat for the eyes, Obsidian Black models reflect light and add depth to the backdrop of your kitchen.

Designed with elegance in mind, this range looks incredible alongside a darker coloured kitchen. Think olive green, deep purple or dark grey- beautiful!

Touch-Cool Front

With safety in mind, PureLine ovens and microwaves have Touch-Cool fronts so the only thing that gets hot is the food.

Remaining relatively cool to the touch on the exterior, PureLine appliances protect you and other members of your household from burns.

You can set a system lock when your appliance is not in use or to avoid any accidental touches, and a safety switch-off provides reliable protection.

SoftOpen/SoftClose

PureLine ovens feature a cushioning mechanism that provides gentle and quiet opening and closing.

The doors open to 90° with ease- perfect for when you only have one hand free. Place your tray on your preferred shelf level and enjoy convenient, unobstructed access to the oven compartment.

Precise Controls

To make your cooking experience as simple as possible, PureLine appliances offer intuitive operation with touch controls.

Expect nothing less than the best from Miele with innovative design technology characterised by brightness, high resolution and exceptional quality displays, providing access to different functions throughout the cooking process.

Whether your PureLine model features a touch screen or a dial, it’s easy to make the most of all its amazing features without spending hours looking at a user manual.

M Touch

The innovative M Touch display is simple to operate and self-explanatory, designed with accessibility in mind. Many features can be chosen with the touch of a fingertip, and the central display is easy to read.

M Touch S Display

A narrower version of the M Touch display, this style maintains the PureLine’s sophisticated appearance and offers all of the same functions as the standard display.

M touch displays on pureline appliances feature one large central display that can be used to select your feature or function with your fingertip instead of using buttons.
The M Touch S display on pureline appliances provide all the same functions as the M touch, it is just a little narrower.

DirectSensor

DirectSelect allows you to set your functions directly with separate buttons while the text display lets you explore all the other options and settings your appliance has to offer.

DirectSensor S

Like the DirectSensor, DirectSensor S allows you to select particular functions with one touch. Explore other settings on the smaller LCD display.

The direct sensor display on Pureline appliances feature a 4 line text display and a row of sensor buttons that allow you to select your appliance function directly.
The DirectSensor S display on Pureline appliances works in a similar way to the direct sensor display but features a single line display.

EasyControl

Perhaps the most traditional appliance control panel, EasyControl takes us back to basics. Featuring two retractable rotary dials, simply turn them to select your function and temperature. The handy LC displays temperature and cooking time as well a clock.

The easy control panel on Pureline appliances provides fast and convenient use with two rotary dials either side of a LC display that primarily features a digital clock.

Features

While the outward appearance of our kitchen appliances is important, the real magic lies inside the PureLine range. They cook just as amazing as they look! Let’s take a look at some of the fantastic cooking features this line has to offer…

Defrosting

A feature that appears on the majority of PureLine microwaves (and some ovens!), the defrosting function eases you into dinnertime by using cool air to unfreeze your food under the perfect conditions.

Using cool air to defrost means nothing stays frozen or starts to cook- preserving the flavour, texture, and appearance of your favourite foods.

Intensive Bake

Is your house home to an avid baker? The Intensive Bake function makes getting creative in the kitchen a lot easier by eliminating the need to blind bake your pastries.

Perfect for tarts, pizza and quiche, Intensive Bake distributes heat evenly, cooking both the base and its filling to perfection. No soggy bottoms here!

Bottom Heat

Depending on what you’re cooking, the Bottom Heat function can be incredibly useful.

From bain-maries to browning bases, this feature is designed to meet the individual requirements of your more unique recipes.

Moisture Plus

Don’t you just hate it when your favourite dish comes out dry? With Moisture Plus, targeted bursts of steam retain your foods moisture throughout the cooking process.

This feature makes a world of difference and is a great companion to all sorts of meats and baked goods.

Diverse Possibilities

PureLine warming drawers are not only suitable for warming your plates and cooking at low temperatures, they also offer a range of other practical uses.

From drying fruit to proving dough or melting chocolate, further your culinary horizons with a PureLine warming drawer.

With functions designed to make the most out of a range of different recipes, the PureLine range guarantees life in the kitchen will be anything but boring!

What else do PureLine appliances have to offer?

Just when you thought PureLine models couldn’t get any better, Miele proves that they can!

Pyrolytic Cleaning

You may have noticed that some models in the PureLine range say ‘Pyrolytic’ in the name. But what does it mean?

Pyrolytic essentially means self-cleaning, aka: taking the hard work out of cleaning! Designed to tackle all food residues (including burnt food and fat splashes!), the pyrolytic function heats the interior of your oven to a high heat to break down debris so it can be wiped away with a damp cloth once your oven has cooled down.

Vastly reducing cleaning time, this feature neglects the need for scrubbing and aggressive oven cleaners.

Energy Efficiency

Aside from appearance and cooking power, one of the most important features we can look for in an appliance is energy efficiency. With sustainable appliances more valuable than ever, Miele is doing their bit to reduce our energy usage and the effect it has on the planet.

With this in mind, all PureLine models available here at Appliance City have either an A or A+ energy efficiency rating. This means they consume the least amount of energy and release less carbon emissions. Not only does this lessen our impact on the environment, it can help you save a pretty penny too!

Styles and Arrangement

The fully consistent design of the appliance fronts throughout the entire PureLine product family conveys a sense of harmony at all times, regardless of whether the appliances are arranged above or next to one another.

The control panel is the same size across the whole range. You can place the appliances in a variety of combinations to meet your needs, for example in a horizontal row at eye level, in a vertical line to make best use of the room height, in a block or in a unique T-shaped layout.

This image feature 4 separate images of the different style arrangements for multiple Pureline appliances.

The 1st is 3 stacked on top of each other in a wall unit in a tower formation with text that says Tower.

The 2nd is 3 placed horizontally with text that says panoramic.

The 3rd is 4 appliances in pairs placed vertically on top of each other with text that says CubiQ.

The final image is of 5 pureline appliances in a T-shape formation with text that says T-shape.
